The round table was organized with aim to exchange knowledge, practice and reflection of all significant stakeholders on this very important topic. Can you identify hate speech out of context? What are the legal penalties for hate speech and who imposed them? These questions were just part of a set of considerations that were discussed in Zagreb, in March this year, with representatives of media publishers, scientific community, journalists, lawyers and other stakeholders, such as: prof. dr. Benedek from the Institute for International Law and Cooperation at the University of Graz, lawyer Vesna Alaburić, Ph.D. Maja Munivrana Vajda from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb and Zorislav Lukić, Secretary General of Matica hrvatska.
